Most festival apps don't outlive the festival.

A standalone app has to win a download every year, then sits unused until the next edition. FEST works the other way around. People keep one app for every festival they go to, so your next edition starts with an audience that's already installed.

Reach

Announce an artist and their fans hear about it.

FEST users follow artists, not only festivals. When you publish your lineup, everyone following one of your artists gets a push saying they play at your festival.

  • Your festival is listed in an app people already use for other events
  • Festival-goers follow you and mark themselves as going
  • A festival page on festapp.io that ranks in search all year

Lineup and schedule

A schedule people actually plan their weekend with.

Festival-goers tap a heart on the sets they want and build their own schedule. The app reminds them 15 minutes before each set.

  • A list or a grid by venue, filtered by day and category
  • Change a set time and every phone shows the new one right away

Artist pages

Every artist gets a page worth opening.

Each artist has a page with their sets, bio, links and music. Festival-goers listen without leaving the app, follow the artist and hear about it when they're announced at another festival.

  • A built-in audio player and YouTube videos
  • Links to the artist's socials and streaming pages
  • A searchable lineup, sorted A to Z or by day

Site map

A map of your site, with your own pins.

Place stages, bars, food, toilets and first aid on an interactive map, grouped by category. Upload your own pin icons so the map looks like your festival. People search for a place, filter by category and see where they are.

  • Categories and custom pin icons you upload in Backstage
  • Search and a "my location" button
  • Each place gets a card with a photo and directions in Google Maps

Push notifications

Reach everyone on site in one message.

A surprise guest, a set moved, doors opening early. Write the notification in Backstage and send it now or schedule it for later. Add a link to the schedule or a page, and pin it to the top of your festival so latecomers see it too.

  • Send right away or schedule ahead
  • Link to any screen and pin it to your festival home
  • A notification history in the app, with unread badges

Tickets and cashless

The ticket and the wristband, in the same app as the lineup.

Festival-goers import their ticket as a PDF or a screenshot. The app reads the barcode on the phone, files it under your festival and turns the brightness up at the gate. They can also top up their cashless wristband without queuing.

  • Reads the barcode on most tickets, from QR codes to PDF tickets
  • Tickets sync across a festival-goer's devices
  • Top up a cashless wristband from the app

Partners and stats

Numbers you can show your sponsors.

Put partner banners on the home screen, the lineup and the schedule, linked to their offer or their site. Each banner counts its views and clicks in real time. Your own stats show who uses the app, the artists they look at, and where they come from.

  • Up to 10 banner placements, rotated by priority
  • Views, clicks and click-through rate per banner
  • Top artists and where your audience comes from

FAQ

Everything you need to know.

FEST App

No. Your festival lives inside the FEST app on iOS and Android. Anyone who used FEST for another festival already has it, and anyone who installs it for yours keeps it for the next event. That's the main difference with a standalone festival app that gets deleted once the festival is over.

FEST App has one yearly price with no setup fees. Take FEST Web with it and the website costs less. Modules like Activations or Volunteers are added on top when you need them. The pricing page shows everything in your currency.

The basics take about 15 minutes and no developer. Add your dates, your artists and your schedule in Backstage and the festival is live in the app. Filling in every set time, place and FAQ takes longer, but you can do it as the program comes together.

Yes. Every screen a festival-goer has opened is saved on their phone, so the lineup and schedule load without signal and reminders still go off.

Yes. Edit a set time in Backstage and it changes in the app right away. If the change matters, send a push notification with a link to the schedule and pin it to the top of your festival page.

The ticket wallet works with the barcode on most tickets. Festival-goers import the PDF or a screenshot and the app does the rest. Festival-goers can also top up their cashless wristband inside the app.

Users, followers, people going and screen views, plus your top artists and where your audience comes from. Partner banners show their views, clicks and click-through rate in real time.
