About

Eagles of Death Metal: The desert rock pranksters who inadvertently became symbols of resilience. Born from a jovial jam session between lifelong friends Jesse Hughes (Boots Electric) and Josh Homme (Baby Duck), EoDM isn't just a band; it's a state of mind—one fueled by tequila, fuzzy guitars, and a whole lotta swagger. Their sound, a boogie-infused blend of garage rock grit, bluesy swagger, and hard rock hedonism, owes as much to T. Rex and AC/DC as it does to Homme's other project, Queens of the Stone Age, though delivered with a distinctly less serious edge. Since their 2004 debut, *Peace, Love, Death Metal*, EoDM has carved out a niche as purveyors of good times, their albums serving as soundtracks to countless parties. The band's career was tragically marked by the 2015 terrorist attack at Le Bataclan in Paris, where they were performing. Their subsequent response – a powerful display of defiance and commitment to music – cemented their place in rock history. They’ve since released more music, including the album *Zipper Down*, and continued to tour, reminding the world that rock and roll, in its purest form, is an act of rebellion. Eagles of Death Metal continue to deliver unadulterated rock 'n' roll joy, one riff at a time.
