Spearheaded by Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven, the Norwegian duo, completed by Håvard "Frost" Jørgensen on drums, carved their name into the genre’s history books with a sound that transcends its initial boundaries. Their early work, steeped in raw, atmospheric black metal influenced by Darkthrone and Mayhem, quickly evolved.
