Welcome back to the future and the origins of dance music with Tales & Ahlam, who plays with the codes of house and Lebanese song to create a blend of influences centered around dance, sharing, and love. Tales & Ahlam, the new Franco-Lebanese duo, consists of producer and DJ Bab and singer Celinatique. A member of the Musique de Fëte collective (launched by Nowadays Records & KasbaH), Bab, as label manager and DJ (for Pardonnez-nous), first made his mark in music production with a solo project focused on Maghreb music. His creations draw inspiration from raï or chaâbi melodies, combined with synthesizers and drum machines, offering a contemporary vision of this heritage, akin to a patchwork oscillating between club and traditional music. As for Celinatique, she has been immersed in music since her early years, coming from a family where traditional and religious Arabic music are omnipresent. Initially discovered by Zeid Hamdan, she began singing in the indie-pop-electro-tarab group "Abaya Road", covering Mediterranean songs in multiple languages (Arabic, Turkish, Spanish). A multidisciplinary and multicultural artist, she knows how to captivate her audience... Their first EP "Boussa" ("kiss" in Arabic) is the result of a real desire for diversity (social, cultural, generational, and of course musical) and for representing the multiple identities that make them up.
